Protective films for carpets and upholstery – films with a larger coverage area and a gentle adhesive, designed to protect textile surfaces from dirt and from the film moving during renovation work.

Each available film has been designed for a specific use scenario and differs in adhesive type, thickness and resistance to external factors.

How do the different protective film solutions differ?

The most important differences between these films concern their function and construction. Window and glass protection film has a removable adhesive that does not leave marks and allows easy removal after the work is completed. The film is resistant to UV radiation, so it can also be used outdoors for a specified period.

Film for mirrors and cracked glass works differently – it does not protect against dirt, but against the effects of glass damage. Its thickness and strong adhesive mean that after breakage the glass does not fall apart into small fragments. This solution is used where people’s safety is the priority, for example in homes, nurseries or workplaces.

In turn, carpet protection film has a much lower adhesive strength, adapted to soft surfaces. Its task is to stabilise the film on the surface and protect it against dirt, without the risk of damaging fibres or leaving adhesive residue.

Protective films are also an excellent way to temporarily secure surfaces during renovation. Thanks to them, carpets and windows can be protected against dirt and mechanical damage.

The advantage of protective film is that it has an adhesive layer, so it adheres closely to the surface and does not move during work.

During renovation or construction work, it is worth protecting every surface.

Standard painter’s film may be insufficient and even impractical – it requires taping, is easy to damage and tear because it is thin, loose and not attached to the surface. A much better choice is protective film that can be used to protect windows and carpets.
