How does Antybion antibacterial film work?

The active element of the antibacterial surface is based on modern nanomaterials with bactericidal and bacteriostatic properties. These materials contain nanoparticles of metals and inorganic salts, which are applied to the active layer of the film.

As a result, the product can be installed on selected flat and smooth surfaces, creating a functional antibacterial surface without changing the basic look of the substrate.

The film is completely transparent, which is especially important on surfaces where clarity and visibility should be preserved, such as windows, transparent partitions and glazed doors.

Where can Antybion antibacterial film be used?

Tested antibacterial effectiveness

The antibacterial effectiveness of the film was tested by the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection at the University of Łódź.

The tests were carried out using two bacterial strains commonly found in the environment:

• Escherichia coli, a Gram-negative bacterium,
• Staphylococcus aureus, a Gram-positive bacterium.

In the test conditions, the film completely inhibited the growth of both bacterial strains. This confirms the high antibacterial effectiveness of the film on its active surface.

Easy installation with water-activated adhesive

The antibacterial film can be installed by the user. It has a water-activated adhesive, so in practice no additional specialist product is required to apply it.

For easier and more efficient installation, we also recommend using window film installation fluid concentrate. It helps make the application process smoother, especially on larger surfaces.
