Polycarbon Silver Duo is a specialist exterior solar window film for polycarbonate skylights, rooflights and polycarbonate roof panels. It is designed to keep a significant part of solar heat outside, helping improve comfort in interiors where sunlight enters through rooflights and quickly overheats the space below.

This film is suitable for demanding, sun-exposed areas such as warehouse halls, production halls, factories, logistics centres, workshops, covered structures and greenhouses fitted with polycarbonate elements. A stronger new-generation film for polycarbonate

Polycarbon Silver Duo is a new generation of polycarbonate solar film with increased durability. Its special multilayer structure gives it a greater thickness compared with other solar films for polycarbonate. The film thickness is 100 µm.

Polycarbonate changes its dimensions under the influence of temperature. That is why a standard solar control film for glass should not be applied directly to polycarbonate. The film also has a spatial micro-pore structure that allows gas released from the polycarbonate to be discharged freely. This is an important feature for this substrate and helps the film remain correctly integrated with the panel during use.

Thanks to its reflective surface, Polycarbon Silver Duo reflects sunlight and effectively stops more than 80% of the solar radiation falling on the film. When installed on skylights, it helps maintain a cooler and more comfortable environment even during periods of high outdoor temperature.

Like other solar control window films, Polycarbon Silver Duo also helps protect interior elements from fading caused by ultraviolet radiation.
