Non-Adhesive LCD Smart Glass Film Sample – A4
This product is an A4 sample of non-adhesive LCD smart glass film. It is intended for checking the material and the switchable privacy effect of LCD film before ordering a larger format.
The sample has prepared electrodes and does not have an adhesive layer. To power the LCD film, a 46 V voltage transformer is required.
Why order this non-adhesive LCD film sample?
This sample helps you evaluate the LCD smart film technology before choosing a final solution. You can check the appearance of the material and the change between the transparent and matt state.
This version is a non-adhesive LCD film sample, so it is not the same as the self-adhesive film intended for direct application to existing glass.
How LCD smart film changes transparency
LCD smart glass film works by arranging liquid crystals in a polymer matrix under electrical current. When the film is powered, it becomes transparent. When the power is disconnected, the liquid crystals are scattered and the film creates a matt glass effect.
The film can be controlled with a remote control, a wall switch or a smartphone app, depending on the selected control accessories.

LCD film versions
LCD films are available as self-adhesive film for installation on existing glass and as film intended for lamination between two glass panes. Both types are available in material widths of 120 cm and 150 cm.
The final made-to-measure product consists of LCD film cut to the required format and fitted with welded electrodes. This sample is a practical way to compare the technology before selecting the final LCD film variant.
